Update from OHSU
18 08 2008I wanted to let you all know the latest information. Teresa is on a ventilator and sedated in ICU. They believe that she is battling an infection and are giving her broad scope antibiotics to fight it. It is a battle between the infection and antibiotics and we have to wait and see who will win. By tomorrow they will have cultures done and we might know exactly what it is and treat it accordingly.
Tonight she will have CT scan and possibly a radiation treatment, I will be by her side and will keep everyone updated. Thankyou for the prayers and well wishes.

Dan, Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you, Teresa and your family. I pray that the antibiotics will defeat the pneumonia (or whatever it is) and that Teresa will bounce back from this latest episode. Her fighting spirit and her strong faith have carried her this far; I hope and pray that she will also recover from this battle as well. Both Zeb and I are praying for you and your family.
